Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Guildford
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Guildford, is proudly located in the heart of Guildford. The nursery is just a four-minute walk from London Road Railway Station and a short drive from the A3. This makes us well located for serving families in the town of Guildford.
We are part of an award winning nursery group, offering high quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old. Adding to this, we tailor our care to suit your child’s age. We achieve this by placing children into the following age categories: babies aged three to fourteen months, toddlers aged fourteen months to three years, and lastly preschool aged three to five years. Due to our rooms being equipped especially for these ages, we are able to provide that home from home feel.
We are open 7:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks per year, providing you with the reliability that you need.
Monkey Puzzle Guildford is fully Ofsted registered but we have not yet been inspected. Nevertheless, we plan to reach “Outstanding” and have the experience in our team to deliver exactly that for our children. We encourage every parent to come and take a look for yourselves, to get a feel for what we do and why children have really great days with us.
We’re just around the corner, with lots for you to discover…
- An amazing home-from-home environment where we guide children’s learning through the Early Years Foundation Stage ensuring they are ready for school
- Daily extra-curricular activities, all included in our fees

Today is Christmas Jumper Day and the children and staff wore their favourite Christmas jumpers to Nursery.
The children were excited to show off their jumpers and to see what jumpers their friends were wearing.
We had discussions about all the different colours, patterns and pictures.

Winter Weather 🌨️❄️
Now that the weather has started getting colder, the Toddlers have been learning how to wrap up warm from the cold.
The toddlers have enjoyed dressing up the dolls in hats, scarves, jumpers and mittens. They even decided to try on some of the hats and mittens themselves!

Preschool have been learning about road safety.
The children enjoyed a walk along the local high street, where they practiced how to safely cross the road. The walk was a great opportunity for the children to share experiences and learn new skills.
