Pine Cone Printing

The children enjoyed paint printing with natural objects, such as Pine cones. They created marks on the paper and made their own patterns.

It`s Ramadan ✨

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.

Over the course of the month, those who celebrate Ramadan do not eat or drink during the hours of daylight. This is called fasting. It is the month when families come together to celebrate iftar, do good deeds and donate money to those in need ❤️

Ramadan ends after 29 or 30 days, depending on the moon and the start of Ramadan depends on the lunar cycle - it starts with the sighting of the Young Moon and ends with a New Moon 🌛

Scented Playdough 🍊

The toddlers enjoyed investigating orange scented playdough. They also added slices of orange to the playdough to explore. The activity provided a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn about different textures and their senses.

At Monkey Puzzle Guildford, we provide children with various opportunities to take part in imaginative play. One way we do this is through role play. The preschoolers have loved dressing-up as Police Officers, acting out their experiences, displaying their knowledge and playing collaboratively.

The babies enjoyed exploring the different colours of the rainbow. They investigated the wooden rainbow toy, moving it around and fitting it together.

They also enjoyed a colour mixing activity where several different colours of paint were under clingfilm. The children then used their hands and fingers to mix the colours.
