Hello. I’m Gina and I am the Nursery Manager at Monkey Puzzle Guildford. My team and I are dedicated to giving every child the best start in life by caring for and supporting them to play, learn and grow in a positive and stimulating nursery environment.

Their team visits Monkey Puzzle Guildford on a weekly basis, providing exciting, fun and educational music, movement and drama classes for our children. Their sessions at our nursery aid with physical development, communication, language & literacy, personal, social & emotional development whist using expressive arts and design.

Our outdoor facilities ensure all our children can make the most of the outdoors during their nursery day. The baby garden is the perfect place for babies to explore a new space while enjoying some fresh air, while the mud kitchen and bug station give our older children the chance to get creative and learn more about their environment. The outdoor gazebo ensures that outdoor learning can take place all year round, whatever the weather as we put great importance on the ability for our children to learn and grow in the great outdoors!

This week, the Toddlers have enjoyed creating snowflakes by using different types of materials to paint and then pressing them to create a winter effect pattern.
The children enjoyed using different types blue and silver colours along with glitter to give them the snowflake effect.

Remembrance Day, also called Armistice Day or Poppy Day, is a Memorial Day to celebrate the end of World War One. The war ended on November 11th, 1918, at 11am.

Today we honour and remember the brave soldiers lives and their sacrifices from the First World War by wearing our poppies, laying Remembrance Day wreaths and watching parades.
